Like all Hamadryad before her, Persephone was born on Purgatory, born to protect the realm from those who would either intentionally or unintentionally cause harm to the environment. Typically, the Hamadryad stay to themselves unless the environment is in danger, preferring the solitude. However, Sephy is not your typical Hamadryad...she thrives on adventure and studying the newcomers (as the angels and fallen are not native to Purgatory) ways.

As the leader’s daughter, she is being trained to someday, in the very distant future she hopes, to take over and lead their people. In the meantime, Sephy’s curiosity has caused her mother many headaches. While Sephy is not young by most standards, she is still considered a young sapling among her people and especially by her mother who tries to keep her guarded at all times, to keep her out of trouble. Sephy, however, sees this as a challenge...how many different ways can she give her guards the slip?
