Chris was the second born into the Anderson family. The family wasn't the wealthiest family around but they weren't dirt poor. Chris has an older brother who he idolized from a young age, only five years older than himself. Everything Jayson did Chris tried to mimic, he was his hero. Now the Anderson household wasn't perfect, it had it's problems just like any other but they were a good christian based family. Chris' mother was a devout christian woman, though his father wasn't ever really into it all. He would be dragged along to church and it's events.

No one really knew what happened, what snapped in their mother one day for her to just up and leave but that's exactly what she did. She dropped off the face of the earth. Chris was very young and though he took the loss of his mother hard, he felt more sadness for how bad it hurt his older brother. The family went down hill from there. Their father became angry and started to drink a lot. Through it all Chris was always dragged to church every Sunday by his brother. Chris had faith but it was no where like Jayson's, and he admired that. Their father wasn't too thrilled about this however and at one point threw away all the photos of their mother into the trash. Chris still remembers the night that their father found the photo Jayson took out of the trash and sat it next to his bed... He remembers his father's cruel words to his older brother and he remembers the blows he swung. It was the first time that their father hit Jayson and if Chris brought it up Jayson always tried to act like it didn't happen.... He use to force himself to forget it, and Chris never understood why.
[break][break]
When Jayson dropped out of school Chris wanted to do the same, but his brother wouldn't have it. He couldn't stand seeing all the pressure put on Jayson and he would go out and do odd jobs for neighbors, mowing lawns, fixings things, whatever he could to try and help out. As time went on like this Chris started to resent his father and what he put himself and his brother through. As Chris got older he began to have big fights with his father, many times it would turn physical and once he turned eighteen, Chris couldn't get out of there faster.
[break][break]
Chris' world was shaken when he found out that Jayson had cancer. He stuck by his brother's side, going to church every Sunday and praying and praying for his brother to be healed. Members of the congregation told them that God could heal him, that they just had to have faith. It was the hardest time in Chris' life and honestly it was a point in his life where he had nothing but hope and faith, that his brother would be okay. Once his brother got too weak to do anything Chris moved back in and began to take care of him. He was the one to find his brother one morning... The death of Jayson hit him so hard and he shut down. He was distant and cried alone in his apartment for days. He started to be there for his father, knowing Jayson would of wanted it. He put up with his father's smart mouth and laziness but Chris started to be reckless. He seemed uncaring about himself and it was because of this that when he was doing a job, working on the roof of a neighbor's three story house and he fell off and just like that his life was gone.
[break][break]
Now he's in Purgatory where apparently you train to become an angel... His brother is here as well but Chris has lost his faith and honestly he isn't sure if he wants to be an angel for a God who forsaken them.
