Jayson was the first born into the Anderson family. The family wasn't the wealthiest family around but they weren't dirt poor. The second born, Christopher was born when Jayson as five years old. Jayson was never the smartest kid in school, his grades were barely passable but he was never a stupid person. He just didn't excel academically, especially in math. Now the Anderson household wasn't perfect, it had it's problems just like any other but they were a good christian based family. Jayson's mother was a devout christian woman, though his father wasn't ever really into it all. He would be dragged along to church and it's events.

No one really knew what happened, what snapped in their mother one day for her to just up and leave but that's exactly what she did. She dropped off the face of the earth and Jayson probably took it the hardest out of all three of them. The family went down hill from there. Their father became angry and started to drink a lot. Jayson was the only one making sure he and his brother made it to church every Sunday.... Jayson thought that maybe if they continued to go that their mother would show up one day. Their father wasn't too thrilled about this however and at one point threw away all the photos of their mother into the trash. Jayson didn't go for that however and took out a picture of his mother and him from the trash and sat in in a photo frame, next to his bed. Upon seeing the photo his father laughed at Jayson and told him that if he wanted a photo of her to remind him of the woman who left because of what a failure Jayson was, then he could go for it... And that's when the guilt for their mother leaving started to eat Jayson up.

Not doing too great anyways, Jayson dropped out of high school. He got a job at a mechanic shop two blocks down and continued to go on church every Sunday, still making his brother go along with him. It wasn't long before Jayson became the sole provider in the Anderson household. He ended up getting another job at a local coney island as a bus boy and with Chris' help they two began to pay the bills, food costs, and of course even their father's alcohol. After Chris hit eighteen he left and went on to be a carpenter and got his own apartment, not too far away. This left Jayson at home with their father and he kept working until he was the age of 29 and he was diagnosed with cancer.
[break][break]
Without the money to pay for treatment and his health insurance being messed up, the cancer was able to take it's toll until there was nothing they could do. He was thirty years old when Jayson passed away, in his bed as he slept. Even as he was sick Jayson made sure to keep working the best he could and he did his best to keep the house keep until eventually Chris was forced to move in and help out when Jayson just couldn't do anymore.

Jayson wasn't surprised to enter the afterlife, as he told his brother that he'd always be there for him, watching over him. The fact that he was literally going to become an angel however... That was a surprise. An awesome surprise, but definitely a surprise. He decided to join the protectorate group of recruits and began his training. It was only a couple months after he passed that his brother Chris joined him in Purgatory.... Now both brother's were set to be angels and Jayson was going to show his little brother the ropes... Like old times.
