1. How does someone become an angel? When someone passes, they are sent to the Academy in Purgatory. Their time in Purgatory determines whether their soul will ascend to Heaven, wander endlessly in Purgatory, or descend to Hell. The only exception to this are the seven Archangels (yes I included Lucifer in that number) These were all made as angels so they have never experienced human life. No one knows how old these seven are, and in fact they themselves have long lost count of how long they have been in existence.
2. Where do Lucifer and the Fallen reside? Lucifer's main residence is in Hell, but he is quite unique since he was born an Archangel and can apparate between Hell and Purgatory. His 2 Knights, Abaddon and Apollyon also possess this ability. The angelic recruits who have defected to Lucifer's side reside on the Accursed Isles.
3. What realms can characters access? Archangels can access any realm they wish and they can also transport others with them for training purposes. Lucifer, Abaddon, and Apollyon can access Purgatory and Hell, but not the Academy. Creatures only have access to the areas in Purgatory outside of the Academy.
4. How long have the recruits been in Purgatory? All of the recruits are newly deceased. The only way to have an established relationship with another recruit prior to rping is for the characters to have known each other in their human lives.
5. What powers do angels and fallen possess? All angels (recruits and fallen included) are able to manifest wings and apparate within Purgatory. Their level of control over these powers will depend upon how much training they have had. Your new angel will not be proficient in these and should not be rped as perfect with flight. Other powers can be purchased in the Powers Shop.
6. If a character died when they were 67, will they appear 67 when they reach Purgatory? We are leaving this at the player's discretion. If you want to say your character has gone back to their appearance when they were 25, that is up to you as the player. Obviously the Archangels do not appear their real age either.
7. Do recruits get new angelic names? When the recruits arrive in Purgatory, they are able to choose a new name, but upon completion of their angelic training, their mentor Archangel will bestow upon them a new angelic name.
8. Are we allowed to make characters who are already angels? Before you can create a full-fledged angel, you will need to have already created a recruit or fallen and have acquired 50 posts.
